Adrian’s Going Solo at Art Walk on Union

For the first time ever, Adrian is doing an art show solo — and no, this isn’t the plot of a romantic indie movie (although it kinda has that energy). He’ll be repping Art’s Really Cool all on his own at the Art Walk on Union in downtown Concord, NC on Saturday, April 12th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., while I’ll be across town photographing pets at Pet Palooza.

Behind the Scenes with Adrian: Caffeine, Sunshine, and Sales Vibes

Caught in the wild during our Art Walk promo shoot (which you can watch below!), this candid moment pretty much sums up Adrian’s whole vibe — joyful, charismatic, and just a little too excited about handing out chocolate.

He’s the kind of person who makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever after a 30-second chat. If you see him at the booth, say hey — and maybe bring him a snack. He’s earned it.

This’ll be our second time at Art Walk on Union and our third Concord art show overall — so we know the vibes: artistic, casual, and full of people who actually stop and look at the work. We love this crowd.

When the Wind Said “No,” the Dining Room Said “Bring It.”

This was our actual booth setup — but indoors, because the wind outside was being dramatic. We needed to run a full test so the real Art Walk day would go off without a hitch, so we cleared the dining room, rolled in the grid walls for the first time, and made it happen.

It was our first time using this display system, and honestly? We’re kind of in love with how it turned out. Rows of original acrylic pours, rainbow chaos, good light, and a table that says, “Yep. This is definitely Art’s Really Cool.”

Sometimes prep day gets weird. Sometimes it ends up kind of perfect.

🎨 What You’ll Find at the Booth

Adrian will be bringing a full spread of our original acrylic pours, including:

  • Magnets and coasters (only ever available at art shows!)

  • Small and large canvas pieces

  • Organized into color-based collections that somehow make each piece pop more just by being grouped together (his idea, and it works)

There’s no single “featured piece” this time — they all shine in their own way. Some shimmer. Some swirl. Some do that satisfying cell-thing that makes you go “ooooh.” But the star of the show? That’s Adrian.

Bribes, Branding, and a 9-Piece Beauty

We’re not saying we’re trying to bribe people with chocolate… but we are absolutely trying to bribe people with chocolate.

Each piece is wrapped with our logo and a QR code that takes you straight to our site — because what pairs better with art than a sweet treat and a shameless plug?

Also featured: our business cards (hi, we’re Adrian & Cory 👋) and a sneak peek at one of our favorite display pieces — a 9-panel painting that looks like it belongs in a dreamscape jungle. Come see it all in person, and maybe grab a snack while you’re at it.

😅 He’s a Little Nervous… But Also Kind of a Sales Machine

Adrian loves doing art shows. They give him a buzz — the good kind. He lights up around people and has that friendly, magnetic energy that makes you want to buy five things and then ask him to hang out after.

That said, he’s a little nervous because I usually handle the sales and payment stuff, and this time he’s doing it all. But we’ve got a plan:

  • I’ll help with setup before I head to my event

  • We’ll text and probably call during the day to hype each other up

  • And I have full confidence that he’ll sell more art than we’ve ever sold before, because he’s a beast like that

Adrian Went Big, Bold, and Beautiful with Radiant Blossom

This piece, titled Radiant Blossom, holds a special spot in Adrian’s pouring journey — not just because of the name, but because it was one of his first big canvases and a bold step out of his comfort zone.

It bursts with layered motion, unexpected color shifts, and the kind of blooming energy that makes you stop and just stare for a second. There's a confidence in the flow, but also a softness — like it knew exactly what it wanted to be before the paint even hit the canvas.

He created it early on, but it’s still one of the biggest and boldest pieces he’s done… and honestly, it still kind of slaps.

🛍️ Can’t Make It?

You can always check out our available pieces online, but the magnets, coasters, and good old-fashioned art fair charm are exclusive to in-person shows.

Magnet Mania (and a Sneaky Panthers Tribute)

Is it even an art show if you don’t walk away with something tiny, colorful, and mildly addictive? Our handmade acrylic pour magnets are just that — little bursts of color and movement, perfect for your fridge, filing cabinet, or anything magnetic that needs a glow-up.

They’re $3 each or 5 for $10, which is frankly a steal considering every single one is one-of-a-kind.

And in the background? That’s a Dutch pour inspired by Carolina Panthers colors — bold blues, silvers, and blacks, swirled into a crashing wave. No official licensing, just pure fandom and fluid art energy.
